Our City
Our Island
Welcome to Lesvos, Greece’s third-largest yet still undiscovered island, where East meets West and Europe meets Asia just 10 km from the Turkish coast.
Unlike crowded Santorini or Mykonos, Lesvos offers authentic character and deep history. Its capital, Mytilini—one of Europe’s oldest continually inhabited cities—boasts Byzantine churches, Ottoman-era mosques, Genoese fortifications, a grand Mediterranean castle, and a vibrant port that remains the island’s cultural and spiritual heart.
2022–2023 — Double Glory
Crowned Third Division Champions (Gamma Ethniki). Won the Fourth Division title. Earned promotion to the Super League 2 after 37 years.
2025 — New Beginning
The club rebranded from to AIO Mytilinis, honoring Aeolian roots while emphasizing its home city and international ambitions in football, culture, and sports tourism.
2026 (Projected) — The Comeback
Currently rebuilding from the 5th Division, AIO Mytilinis aims to win promotion back to the Third Division (Gamma Ethniki) by December 2026 — a true comeback story, driven by belief, community, and ambition.
